1. Athlete - may be nominated 25 years after graduation
2. Coach - may be nominated 10 years after out of coaching
3. Contributor - may be nominated at any time

Individuals

1. A North Central Conference selection with in your respective sport.
2. A North Central Conference event champion.
3. A State qualifier

Teams

1. A North Central Conference team champion.
2. A post season tournament champion
